His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin King Faisal I bin
Al Hussein Bin Ali El-Hashemite (born 1930 in Iraq) is the
second son of King Faisal I of Iraq (1921- 1933). He is a
member of the Hashemite dynasty and therefore a
descendant of the Islamic prophet Muhammad.

Post 1958 Coup
On July 14, 1958 a coup occurred in Iraq, which effectively
dissolved Hashemite rule in the country. At the time, Prince
Mohammed was away, travelling in Egypt. As of today, he
is the sole legitimate heir to the Hashemite throne in Iraq.

Education
Prince Mohammad received his education in Egypt and
United States of America. He has a PhD in Management
and International Relations.

Life
Prince Mohammed has remained in exile from Iraq since
1958. He backed away from politics and put all the efforts
to the development of education, scientific research,
culture and social work in the Arab world and the third
world countries as president of the Royal Academy of
Science International Trust (RASIT), which he founded in
1968.

Education
Prince Mohammad received his education in Egypt and
United States of America. He has a PhD in Management
and International Relations.

Marriage
Prince Mohammed is married to the honorable Fatima
Al-Hashemi, and has three sons, Prince Dr Adel, Prince
Adnan and Prince Ahmad: and one daughter Princess Dr
Nisreen.
