MUTE International Program Youth Ambassador Announcement
Are you a young adult who is passionate about a social issue? Got
innovative solutions? Then an exciting opportunity awaits you!  
RASIT MUTE International Program is pleased to announce accepting
applications for the MUTE International Youth Ambassador starting July 15th
2013.  The Youth Ambassador is for deaf and hard of hearing as well as
hearing youth - female and male individuals - ages 18 to 30 years. RASIT
Secretariat will select 10 Youth Ambassadors to work with the MUTE
International Program Team to implement a strategic plan that addresses
social issues within the deaf community. Moreover, the Youth Ambassadors
will represent the MUTE International Program at presentations, workshops,

Mrs. Randa Assi Berri to Become Patron for MUTE International in
Lebanon
RASIT Executive HRH Princess Nisreen El-Hashemite announces the
Patronage of Mrs. Randa Assi Berri for MUTE International Program Activities
in the Republic of Lebanon.

50 Deaf Lebanese Deaf Watch a Play with the Hearing Peers
Under the theme of Equality for MUTE people, RASIT invites 50 deaf
Lebanese individuals to watch the play of the renowned Lebanese actor
Goerge Khabaz titled "We Are Not Different".  The event, the first activity of
MUTE International Program in the MENA Region event, will take place on
June 8th 2013.

RASIT Team Visits Lebanese Association for Disabled
Per the Invitation of the President of the Lebanese Association for Disabled,
RASIT Executive Director HRH Princess Nisreen El-Hashemite accompanied
by MUTE International Program Manager Mr. Khaled Chahine, the Program
Coordinator Mrs. Mona Bou Alia and RASIT Youth Representative to the UN
Miss Cynthia Naame, visits on May 30th 2013 the Center of the Lebanese
Association for Disabled.  


Under the theme of "Strengthening Human Diversity", the Turkish National
Federation of the Deaf (TNFD) is organizing “XVII. World Congress of the
World Federation of the Deaf” under the World Federation of the Deaf in
ISTANBUL between July 28th – August 2nd, 2015.
