HRH Prince Mohammad bin King Faisal (I) of Iraq El-Hashemite, RASIT’s Founder President, established the Capacity Development in Arab States Initiative, aiming to support governments in investing in their human resources. Some the examples are as follow.
Starting from Kuwait, RASIT’s Founder President established capacity development programs designed for university science and engineering as well as management, and economics students and graduates in Kuwait Oil Company, Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research, Central Bank of Kuwait, and relevant ministries. The Programs were also available for youth from the Gulf States that gained their independence in the early 1970s. The Programs were then tailored for other Arab States and implemented.
Another capacity development program was designed for implementation at Kuwait University, where Prince Mohammad bin King Faisal (I) of Iraq is a co-founder. The Programs included 3–4 months of education and training for graduates and workers in public administrative management to gain knowledge and skills on, inter alia, Information and Communication Technology, Digitalization, and foreign languages, among others.
