Given the complexity of the United Nations multilateral environment, RASIT will cover a series of different thematic areas during the course of the Fellowship Program. These will include peace and security, human rights and humanitarian affairs, global health and well-being, trade and economics, science and technology, as well as environment and sustainable development.
The RASIT UN Fellowship Program is designed to be highly interactive and participatory. Activities will include a high level of direct exposure to policy practitioners and diplomatic settings, thereby allowing participants to gain a thorough knowledge and understanding of the United Nations.
The Fellowship assignments vary greatly in terms of content. Participants may have a country-specific, regional, sectoral, or thematic focus.
The Fellowship Program is taking place at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, Geneva, Vienna, and Nairobi.
The Fellowship Program’s length is for two weeks. All the activities will take place in the English language.
