Our partners

Science is a global endeavor. It is at the heart of modern life throughout the world and is inherently and increasingly international and collaborative. RASIT helps to develop partnerships between scientists and brings together scientists, policy makers, and multi-stakeholders from around the world. Addressing the world’s challenges requires international collaboration. We use the expertise of international scientists, including Fellows and Members, to advise decision makers on global issues.

RASIT has been working in the spirit of Sustainable Development Goal 17 ever since our founding. Partnership may be said to be not just a part of our DNA, but a multi-faceted helix that is constantly reaching out in new ways. This is translated by our remarkable partnership with the UN agencies, Departments, Member States and intergovernmental organizations, the private sector, civil society, and individuals.

By working together in a cooperative, innovative and constructive way, we can leave behind us the many tragedies we see unfold around the world. In this way we can help build a life of opportunity and dignity for all.

private sector

The private sector is an important development partner for RASIT in achieving its mission to help accelerating socio-economic sustainable development. RASIT’s collaboration with the private sector takes various forms:
• Facilitate discussions between public and private sector and the civil society on a specific development theme or industry sector
• Find solutions for development challenges through core business activities and initiatives
• Mobilize private sector financial and in-kind resources for sustainable development solutions
• Leverage innovative financing and partnerships solutions to mobilize private capital for the implementation of the socio-economic sustainable development programs and
• Involving the private sector on key development issues.

Civil Society Organizations

For programs implementation and policy advocacy, RASIT collaborates with other non-governmental and civil society organizations such as volunteer organizations, indigenous peoples' organizations, mass-based membership organizations, and community-based organizations.

Goodwill Ambassadors, Spokespersons and Advocates

RASIT has long enlisted the voluntary services and support of prominent figures as Goodwill Ambassadors, Spokespersons and Advocates to shine a spotlight on important issues affecting our planet and its people. These well-known individuals share a commitment to making the planet a better place.

Foundations

Both global, regional and national foundations are providing strong backing for RASIT’s activities and programs. We recognize the tremendous knowledge that foundations offer, ranging from environment to health and financial inclusion and work with them at the community level to better address local issues.

Since 1968, the journey of RASIT's Socio-Economic Sustainable Development
continues through its collaboration & partnership with:

We live in an era, in which science and technology have evolved miraculously, and are in ever more creative ways being harnessed to achieve permanent and sustainable development goals. It is necessary to recognize, however, that the world cannot turn the wheel of development and advancement without the central involvement of talented and competent women and men in science whether in leadership or diplomacy.

HRH Prince Mohammad bin King Faisal (I) El-Hashemite
