Funding and Finances

To ensure our independence, the Royal Academy of Science International Trust (RASIT) relies on voluntary contributions from individuals, multilateral organizations, non-governmental entities, private and philanthropic sectors, and financial institutions, in the form of unrestricted regular resources (core), and contributions earmarked for a specific theme, program or project.

Development is a long-term process that requires a clear strategic focus and the ability to respond to emerging challenges and opportunities. Flexible resources allow RASIT to enable coordinated and rapid responses to development needs and support communities in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.

Support allows RASIT to influence and help to create a future for scientific excellence. Throughout our history, donations have been essential in enabling RASIT to support outstanding youth, scientists, promote science and its benefits and recognize excellence in science.

RASIT is a registered charity (with 501(c)3 status) and we rely on voluntary contributions to fund many aspects of our work.

RASIT recognizes the important role of all its development partners and remains grateful for their continued trust & support.

Gifts from foundations, corporations and individual donors, as well as legacies in the form of bequests and contributions received in the memory of others, help us maintain our independence, influence and create excellence in science for socio-economic sustainable development.

If you decide to give to RASIT you will join a distinguished group of Fellows and friends in supporting Socio-Economic Sustainable Development Programs. You will help to sustain scientific excellence on an ongoing basis and participate in a rich community of scholars and leaders.

You can donate online.

For Fellows and friends in the USA: If you would rather donate via post, please send your check payable to the Royal Academy of Science International Trust and send it to Development Office, The Royal Academy of Science International Trust, P.O. Box 20160, New York NY 10017, USA.
